Navigable Waters

The USACE Wilmington District Navigation Branch regularly conducts surveys on federally-maintained channels. In Hyde County, the corps monitors and surveys Far Creek. For surveys of neighboring navigable waters, including the Intercoastal Waterway and Oregon Inlet, visit the Wilmington District Navigation Branch website.
