Second Notices for 2019 Tax Bills

05/12/2020 - The Hyde County Tax Office will be mailing second notices for delinquent 2019 property tax bills this week. During the printing of these notices, an error caused 150 notices to be printed twice. We attempted to remove as many as possible, but if you receive a duplicate notice we appologize. If you are unsure if it is a duplicate, you can compare the bill and parcel number on each notice.

The notice does not reflect any payments made after May 5, 2020.

Interest charges will accrue each month until the tax bill is paid in full. Delinquent taxes are subject to garnishment, levy (seizure), or foreclosure.

For your convenience, the Hyde County tax office accepts cash, check, money orders, and credit/debit cards. You can also pay by credit or debit card by searching for your bill via our online portal here. Please be aware that there is a 2.65% service fee ($2.95 minimum) when using a credit/debit card. Please contact the tax office at 252-926-4469 if you have any questions or concerns.
