Hyde County Parks and Recreation Master Plan (updated 2014)
The Hyde County Parks and Recreation Master Plan will guide future investment and allocation of resources for future parks and recreational facilities. It is an update to the 2002 Recreation and Parks Master Plan. The plan included input gleaned from two public meetings, one in Swan Quarter, the other on Ocracoke, and a community-wide survey. Input received from county residents will help community leaders plan for future facilities and it will also lay the foundation for the determination of a need for upgrading or expanding existing facilities.
